Like travelling through the world enjoy the sunshine and live a sustainable life. I think people shouldn't do harm to the environment. I like singing swimming and dancing. My major is accounting.

So, for what it's worth, in recognition of a new year and a new beginning, here are my lessons, distilled down to a few short points. Bonus points if you recognize where they're from. :) No guarantee they'll work for you -- hell, the jury is out whether or not they're working for me. But, for me, I think these ideas sum up the way I would like to lead my life.

My name is David, I am a student and I am from Slovakia. Photography is my best hobby and I like it so much :) I take photos for about half a year .

I am 25 years old Ghanaian and hold a BSc degree in Marketing from Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), Greenhill College and a Professional Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), UK. I am currently working with Coca Cola Ghana Limited. I am also the President and Founder of ECA Leadership Foundation, an NGO determined to empower and train young people on Leadership. On October 17, 2008, I hosted for the first time, the Stand Up Against Poverty Campaign in Accra, Ghana. It was highly successful and was partly sponsored by GIMPA, Coca Cola Ghana and Parlays Biscuits. In August 2008, I was selected as a delegate from Ghana to attend the International Young Professional Summit (IYPS 08) in Manchester, UK where I networked with amazing young professionals from different countries. As a member of Student In Free Enterprise (SIFE), I have traveled and worked on various projects, which have been of immense benefit to my society. SIFE members raise funds to undertake community based projects. My favorite quote is ?Perseverance Conquers All?.

My name is Adina, i am a studend of psychology and sciences of education and in my opinion the first step in educating the people to resource efficiently is of course the education. We should all have a discipline at school saying how to resource efficiently and how to grow your own plants, and how to create your own solar panels or how to make a compost. It is important to make a greener eco society.

My name is Amalia and i am from Romania. I am interested in flowers and how to make them liowe tove longer. I have knowledge of ikebana and also i adore to make beautiful buckets of flowers for women as my mother has her own flowershop. which is kind of lovely. That is me in the picture when I was about 14. I just realized that back then I was so found of free energy, because I have asked my father to tell me why do we need to pay the government money, what does the government offers to us. He then replied that not much, but at least they offer some. I believe it is us to take care of ourselves and I mostly think we should try with free energy, because even though it costs a lot to get some solar panels for instance, in time it will be worthwhile.

I have graduated last year from "Partizani High School" in Tirana, Albania, and currently I am a freshman in Bates College (Lewiston, ME, USA), double-majoring in Economics and Mathematics, with a secondary concentration in "Law and Society". Being raised in a post-communist, developing country and now studying a mix of knowledge fields in a liberal arts college, have highly influenced my awareness and sensibility to global issues, wondering if there are concrete ways to improve our stability and well-being throughout time.
