2013 Photo Competition – Voting extended
Due to the large number of last minute submissions and by popular demand, the Sustainable Thinking Platform is glad to announce the deadline for voting on our photo competition has been extended to midnight 24 May 2013.
Submissions – which closed on 30 April -will be initially rated in a first round by the online platform members. The shortlisted finalists will then be judged by a panel comprised of international journalists and industry representatives.

VinylPlus launches new photo competition
Following the enormous success of the last multimedia competition, VinylPlus has re-launched its Sustainable Thinking Platform, the online community for young people from all around the world to discuss and learn about sustainability issues. More than 2,500 people from over 90 different countries had signed up to join the 2010 edition.

Smart, sustainable and inclusive growth for Europe and beyond. How do we make it happen?
The Sustainable Thinking Platform has launched a new, more exciting photo competition aimed at people aged 18-30 years old from all around the world. Participants are allowed to submit a maximum of 3 pictures.
This edition will run from 1 February until 30 April 2013 and all entries must address the following question “Smart, sustainable and inclusive growth for Europe and beyond. How do we make it happen? All pictures must include a short explanatory text – of minimum 500 characters – addressing this particular question and indicating how we can make this happen.
Participants are asked to rate other members' work. To do that, simply click on a picture and choose the number of stars you want to award. You will only be able to vote once for the same work but you can rate as many submissions as you want.
These votes will be used to shortlist the finalists for our competition. The winners will then be selected by a professional panel of journalists and industry representatives. You will have the chance to win an iPad mini. But that is not the only way you can win. The 3 most active participants will receive a cool and sustainable recycled PVC sports bag.
