Slawek, 26, is an Economics graduate from Utrecht University and has also a MS in Political Science from the London School of Economics. He currently works as environment data analyst for London City Hall.

“I stumbled upon the Sustainable Thinking Platform (STP) while searching for information on sustainability. I particularly liked the democratic approach STP takes by trying to get young people's thoughts and ideas. Being a keen photographer I thought I'll give it a try. While my idea of promoting cycling certainly isn't ground-breaking, the beauty of it lies in its simplicity and as of yet still untapped potential. Only last month, London took a major step towards promoting cycling by launching an innovative scheme and planting thousands of bikes across the city. It's astonishing how long it took and how many cities still don't offer this sort of service. Hence my entry was about realising the full potential of the obvious and easily achievable solution.” Slawek
