I will bring nature back

This school boy leads his colleagues to plant a tree he will continue to nurture throughout his period in school.

The boy knows well that the last man dies when the last tree dies. He thinks of the large Catapa tree his father planted long ago, which now offers shade to everyone in the neighbourhood. He thinks of the nourishing fruits he plucks from trees in the village. He sees the beautiful furniture and cabinets that are made from trees. He thinks of the herbs, the paper, pencil and ruler made of wood, and the leaves for packaging nuts.

He has learned that when we cut these trees, without replacing them, we do not only deny ourselves of these benefits, but we also endanger our wellbeing on earth. So he takes a step to plant a tree, hoping he would be meeting a need in some couple of decades.
