Biography
Cise joined the Geotechnical Research Group at University of Cambridge in April 2009 as a PhD student. Cise was offered a Cambridge European Trust Bursary to carry out her research work. She is a member of Lucy Cavendish College. Main objective of Cise's research is to optimize the properties and possible applications of Reactive Magnesium Oxide Cements (also known as ‘Eco-cements’). In addition to her academic research, Cise has a great interest in sustainability and renewable energy related issues, and writes a weekly column in the top-selling newspaper in Cyprus, with the main goal of providing the public with valuable information and suggestions regarding green living.
